A Planting We Will Go!

Happy Memorial Day!  With both of us fighting colds, we decided it was a good day to bring out the workhorse John Deere tractor and our vacuum seeder and plant things the easy way today!  Our rows in the “back 40” garden are 125 feet long, and this is what went in today -- 2 rows of Burpee Super Sweet Cantaloupe, 1 row of Straight Eight Cucumbers, 1 row of Table Ace Acorn Squash, 1 row of Buttercup Squash, 1 row of Small Wonder Squash, 1 row of Professional (as opposed to unprofessional:-) Gourds, 1 row of Jack Be Little mini orange pumpkins, 1 row of Warted Gourds, 1 and 1/2 rows of Sugar Ann Snow Pea Pods and 2 and 1/2 rows of Howden Carving Pumpkins.  This sure is the easy way to plant things!!  Now for some rain....
